SHRM-Atlanta is pleased to announce Dr. Aisha Wright-Burke as EVP, Organizational Effectiveness.

In her role, Dr. Wright-Burke will work closely with the SHRM-Atlanta executive team as well as key partners on SHRM-Atlanta staff to empower SHRM-Atlanta’s Volunteer Leadership Team (VLT) by identifying key talent areas and providing coherent, well-developed plans for obtaining, developing, and managing critical volunteer talent, including but not limited to: succession planning, career paths, onboarding, role definition, and leadership development.

Aisha will guide and collaborate with the committees needed to execute the various programs including: VLT Recruiting, VLT Communications, VLT Learning & Development.

Dr. Wright-Burke is passionate about building communities of learning, cultivating environments for developmental conversations and acting as a solution designer by collaboratively assessing organizational needs, streamlining options for execution and implementing with care. Leveraging over 20 years’ experience, she thrives on using data to understand gaps and drive holistic decisions for organizational success.

Aisha currently leads the thought leadership, strategy and execution of talent planning and mobility globally at ADP, Inc.  Previously, as a valued and esteemed member of the field HR organization, she was  instrumental on several HR strategic teams related to the learning trajectory of the global HR organization, deployment of ADP’s strengths-based approach to performance and succession, Career Growth & Development and a host of integrative initiatives to drive and influence engagement, talent mobility and acceleration within ADP’s businesses. Prior to ADP, Dr. Wright-Burke held multiple roles nationally and internationally with Siemens, Inc., a global engineering and technology company, where she spearheaded key talent and diversity initiatives.

Aisha holds a B.A. in Business Administration – Management from Clark Atlanta University. She earned a Master of Education in Human Resources Organizational Development and Doctor of Adult Education, from the University of Georgia. Dr. Wright-Burke has also served as an adjunct HR Instructor at the School of Continuing & Professional Education at Kennesaw State University. She enjoys serving the metro Atlanta community to progress the profession of HR and supporting the importance of personal wellness through several organizations: volunteering for the Atlanta chapters of the National Black MBA Association and the National African American Association of Human Resources, as well as Board Member for the Atlanta Track Club. In her spare time, Aisha enjoys traveling with her husband Jenero, running, walking, reading, salsa dancing and yoga.
