To create space for more mindful care, our Mental Health & Wellness services help our members slow down, reflect, and tend to themselves—ultimately allowing them to live better lives.

  • Mental health care is not one-size-fits-all. That’s why we offer multiple ways for members to take advantage of our mental health services with no referral needed. With many choices, we better fit into members’ different lifestyles and make care more accessible.
  • Navigating your mental health care journey can be overwhelming. At Kaiser Permanente, we make it easier for our members to understand their health plan benefits and lay out exactly what members can expect from our mental health & wellness services.
  • We don’t tiptoe around mental health care. Kaiser Permanente offers a wide array of tools to our members that help keep their minds, bodies, and spirits in healthy balance.

Once we assess a member’s needs, they will receive a unique and tailored treatment plan based on their personal preferences. Kaiser Permanente offers a wide variety of mental health services, so we’re always able to meet our members where they are.

  • Individual Therapy & Psychiatry
    • Therapy at Kaiser Permanente is collaborative and results-oriented. Members work closely with their therapists to develop strategies and tools that help them better achieve their specific goals.
    • If a member needs medication as part of their treatment plan, they have access to one-on-one, confidential sessions with a psychiatrist, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant.
  • Group Therapy & Health Classes
    • Group therapy meetings allow members with similar experiences or conditions to support each other to reach common wellness goals. It’s an opportunity to learn from and connect with others under the guidance of our experienced mental health professionals.
    • Kaiser Permanente also offers in-person and online wellness classes taught by trained instructors that empower members to strengthen relationships, change unhealthy thinking and behavior, cope with stress, and more. Members can explore the resources we offer by visiting org/classes/ga.
