Gimme 5

For just taking a cleaner commute such as carpooling, vanpooling, public transportation, bicycling, or walking you can participate in our Gimme Five program and earn $150 by recording 30 clean trips over a 90-day period.

The program is structured so users can redeem at multiple points along the way. Eligible users should see “Gimme 5 Claim Reward” in their rewards section to sign up for the program. Upon signing up, a Gimme 5 Level 1 incentive will appear in your rewards section with a progress bar indicating your completion status. Once you complete the program level, you can claim your reward and move to the next level. There are 3 levels to complete:

  • Level 1 – $25 after 5 clean commute days
  • Level 2 – $50 after 15 clean commute days
  • Level 3 – $75 after 30 clean commute days

$25 Prize

You are automatically entered to win a $25 prize drawing when you log a clean commute. Winners of the drawing will be announced at the beginning of each month. The more you log, the greater your chances are of being selected in the drawing.

Carpool Rewards

Heading the same way to work as your friends, coworkers or neighbors? You have the option to sign up for our Carpool Rewards program and start earning monthly rewards. Each member of your carpool can earn a monetary reward monthly by participating in the program. All you have to do is ensure that your carpool logs eight days of carpooling each month for everyone to be rewarded.

2-person carpools: $10 per person per month

3-person carpools: $15 per person per month

4-person carpools: $20 per person per month

Select “Sign Up” to join the carpool program. You’ll need to provide the name and email address of each person in your carpool, along with a description of your carpool’s route. Every member must complete and submit the sign-up form for your carpool. Once approved, you can start logging your carpool trips to earn rewards.

CommuterPerks

For simply logging five clean commuter trips every month, you have access to discounts at local and national retailers, restaurants, and entertainment venues. You will have unlimited access to these discounts as you log five clean commutes each month.

GRH (Guaranteed Ride Home):

If an unexpected event occurs, GCO members can redeem up to five rides home each year. Your first ride home is available immediately after logging your first clean commute. To unlock the remaining four rides, you’ll need to log eight days of clean commuting.
Please remember, GRH is only available for GCO users unable to take their usual ride home due to:
  • Unexpected personal or family sickness to you or your carpool/vanpool driver.
  • Mandatory unscheduled overtime at work for you or your carpool/vanpool driver.
To request a GRH ride, you will be asked to provide details about your ride, including the time you need it, the purpose, pickup location, and drop-off location. GRH service is designed to pick you up from your workplace and transport you to either your home or a verified park & ride location.
